Miss Witt and her award-winning chocolates are to be admired – her reputation for producing stylish creations and sensational flavours is demonstrated perfectly in this workshop - featuring luxurious Milk Chocolate from Venezuela and Colombia.
On arrival, you will be served tea or coffee and a selection of warm croissants, while tasting the two different milk chocolates. You will then learn how to make milk chocolate truffles using Venezuelan Milk Chocolate and fresh cream.
Then we go on a journey to Colombia to make mendiants, using the countries fabulous milk chocolate. You can add flavours to your chocolate discs, or if you are a purist, you can keep them plain with the option to add a touch of gold dust.
You leave having learnt a variety of skills, such as how to make a fresh cream milk chocolate ganache, using a piping bag to pipe chocolate into a truffle shell, coating truffles in milk chocolate by hand-rolling them, using a dipping fork to cover the truffles in chocolate and how to make chocolate mendiants.
