DISCIPLES ESCOFFIER AND HALF-TERM EVENTS
In March I was knighted with wooden spoons to become a Disciples Escoffier, and received a green sash with a beautiful copper pan attached to a certificate. This was a great honor to be recognized for my work as a chocolatier, and teacher. The UK of Disciples Escoffier is part of a worldwide organization that works in promoting the beliefs and objects Auguste Escoffier laid out.
Visiting a Chocolate supplier and Seeing Chocolate Growing in Ecuador First Hand…
Having travelled 19 hours, I arrived in Manta, Manabi in Ecuador on 11th January to spend a week with my dear friend Susana Cardenas, founder and owner of Cardenas Chocolate. I know many of you have enjoyed her chocolate, my Christmas Cranberry & Hazelnut Mediants were made with this beautiful chocolate.
10th Year Anniversary!
It’s my 10th year in business! Day one of Chocolate By Miss Witt was 21st July 2012.
I remember the week clearly as I had decided; Where better than to test out my chocolate recipes but the Saturday market of the beautiful coastal, Georgian town of Lymington.

Miss Witt - Judges The Chocolate Academy Awards 2021
This year, 2021, I was very proud to be invited to be on the Judging panel for The Academy of Chocolate Awards. Together we deliberated over the best chocolate in the world in classes of Bean to Bar, Tree to Bar, Flavoured, Milk and White Bars, Filled chocolates, Spreads and Packaging.
